SCRAP-LIFTING is NOT a crime... or is it?

I recently was browsing thru Pintrest and someone pinned this gorgeous page!! I am not sure what exactly caught my attention but I loved it at first glace... and when that happens I know a scrap-lift is in the making. The original page has been done traditionally with paper... scissors and glue... and mine was done in the My Memories Suite 2 software program. The kit I used was called Morning Hush.... this kit is so versatile I have made 4 pages with it and I am still in love with it!!

I have so enjoyed using this software I am addicted... Today's was based on the My Memories Weekly Challenge that starts EVERY Wednesday and Lisa J.  gives you the week to get it completed and uploaded. I won a few weeks back WOOT!! I won $10 worth of product!! But the good thing about this software that they give you a ton of papers and elements that you don't need to but a ton of other kits... The page above is made with just the stuff the software comes with... I had fun building it!!

Missed

This weeks challenge on My Memories is Remembrance... The word instantly brought to my mind Mom and how she is missed. To keep the pain at a distance I didn't want to write a bunch of flowery words so missed is all I let myself think of....

My Memories..... Up Coming GIVE-AWAY

The Lord works in the mysterious ways... and sometimes he just walks right into the front door of your life...
One night several weeks ago I received an email from a gal named Liz telling me how much she liked my blog and wondered if I wanted to have a give-away of My Memories software on my blog... the skeptic I am I got up and checked out their software and graphics.... I liked what I saw... so instead of just saying YES! I asked if they were looking for graphic designers too!! The next day I received an email from Bev... saying yes they were looking for designers and Bev was already familiar with my work from PCcrafter and seemed excited to have me interested in putting my work in their hands...
Today on Facebook I happened to notice that My Memories was having a scrapbook page challenge. The challenge was to create a All About ME page... Today was as good as any other to try out the My Memories software. Wow!! It was actually fun creating my ME page! The learning curve for me was mostly that the software was just so simple to use... I am use to using Photoshop. The My Memories software is as easy as just dragging and dropping!! I really like my page!

Once I got going with the software I couldn't stop myself... I ended making 4 pages of vacation photos. I have a photobook I purchased almost 2 years ago and I have never used it... so I now have 12 days to go thru over 1,000 photos and create a book.... :) I can do it and Steve is ready to help me... well he is ready to tell me I am doing a great job... he really liked the first 4 pages. I have the most supportive hubby!! Love him to the core!!
